ABOUT ME

My name is Brad Leier. I live in Terrace British Columbia with my wife and two young children. I completed a bachelor of science degree in nutrition and food science along with an integrated dietetic internship at the University of Alberta. From there, I worked as a frontline dietitian with local health authorities in Alberta and British Columbia. My interests led me to pursue a variety of different positions from a quality improvement coach to a long-term care services manager. Having spent three years working in post-secondary in an associate dean of health and human services position, I recently returned to the health sector. I now work for the local health authority, Northern Health, as a manager for a regional psychiatry unit along with tertiary mental health and substance use, and specialized community services.
